Lying at the base of Souther Fell and Blencathra in the tranquil and unspoilt village of Mungrisdale, The Mill Inn provides the perfect setting for your visit to Cumbria. With the Glenderamakin River flowing below and the Lakeland fells above, you are sure to appreciate the striking and pleasant location of our 17th Century Coaching Inn.

Downstairs we have a lounge bar with snug, games room with pool table (in winter months) and dartboard, and a dining room where breakfast & evening meals are served. In summer you can relax in our beer garden beside the river, and in winter you can warm yourself by the open log fire.

The Mill Inn has 6 ensuite bedrooms, 3 double and 3 twin. There is an Upstairs Residence Lounge. Services include Tea & Coffee facilities in all rooms, Hair Dryer and Trouser Press available.

We serve Morning Coffee and Afternoon Tea. Parties are catered for and we also have a Christmas Menu.
